I had about 10 loads of laundry to wash today, among the million other things on my to-do list. In the morning while I was gathering up all the laundry, Tulip was very interested in what I was up to. She was following me around like a little shadow. I love that!
As I was taking the laundry down to the garage, she was right behind me. I decided to prop the garage door open so she could come along if she felt like it. We don’t normally invite her into the garage, but I thought she might like to do a little exploring. Sure enough she came downstairs too. She sat at the middle of the stairs and “watched” while I sorted the clothes. Then it was up and down the stairs with me almost every time I went back down there. I left the door open for most of the day. I’m not sure if she went back down there to explore or not, but she was definitely aware that it was open. At one point I caught her lying across the top of the stairs with all 4 feet hanging over the edge. “All that laundry makes me tired, Mama.” She ought to sleep well tonight.
