Snooze

After a tough morning of taking out every toy from the toybox, who doesn’t appreciate a good snooze?  If nothing else, Moo is content.  She’s so easy to please.

Moo zoom

Moo isn’t exactly camera shy.  Presenting the extreme Moo zoom!  Nice booger nose, Moo.

Tiger toe

Eeny, meeny, miny, moe.
Catch a tiger by the toe…

Tough workout

Last weekend I absolutely had to have a nap after a tough workout.  And apparently Tulip was exhausted from folding all that laundry.  It was very thoughtful of her to help out though.

Phew!

For the past several days we’ve been having a bit of a heatwave here in San Diego.  For whatever reason, Moo doesn’t mind it one bit.  But it wipes out Tulip.  She gets cranky and lethargic.  Here she is sacked out under the ceiling fat, too hot to have her feet up on the bed.  Phew!

Mooey Mountain

Lest anyone should think that Tigey Mountain is the only mountain around here.  We also play Mooey Mountain.

Sushi Friday

We have a friend who’s a sushi chef.  Every once in a while he hooks the kitties up with some fish scraps when we go to see him.  Needless to say the girls are big fans.  Who doesn’t love sushi Fridays?

Preening

Moo just may be the cleanest cat in town (with the exception of her persistent booger nose).  She is constantly preening.  Judging from the picture it’s her idea of relaxation.  Whatever suits you I guess.  At least she’s not constantly funky.

Tigey Mountain

Tulip doesn’t typically beg for food at the dinner table.  But she does like to hang around with us while we eat.  Usually when I finish breakfast I’ll put my feet up on the rungs of the chair so my knees are up high and scoop Tulip up into my lap.  She stands up on my knees as tall as she can and plays Queen of Tigey Mountain.  She just stands up there and surveys the room while I pet her and talk to her.  We did this this morning, but while she was up there she decided she was tired.  So she settled down and eventually fell asleep there.

Worst headstand ever

A while back we were sitting on the couch watching TV.  Tulip was running around the living room, wild as anything.  She suddenly jumped up onto the back of the sofa.  She then proceeded to cram herself into the vertical space between the two back-rest sofa cushions where she got stuck, upside down, head first, crammed between the cushions like a hot dog in a bun.  She was so wild I didn’t want to try to help her because I knew she’d end up biting me.  So we just sat and watched while she sat there for a few seconds, contemplating her situation.  She finally kicked herself loose in a little flurry of back feet and landed like this.  Worst headstand ever.
